ACCCORD was registered as not-for-profit initiative in the year 2007 under the societies registration act XXI/1860, and no.459/07.
It has also approvals from the Government of Kerala, Department of social welfare under the person with disabilities (PWD) act, 1995 as well as from the ministry of social justice and empowerment under the National trust act , 1999, (NO.140217231661021/MR/CP/A TISM/MD)
Formation of ACCCORD and its service providing center RICCCH was an initiative of handful of service minded individuals from varying professional backgrounds like health management, human relations, speech pathology, psychology, management, accountancy, genetics etc.

RICCCH (a service providing center of ACCCORD)
RICCCH (Rehabilitation Institute for Cognitively and Communicatively Challenged) was established on November 14, 2007, in accordance with clause (3) of memorandum of association of ACCCORD.
RICCCH is established particularly for addressing cognitive, communicative and other related developmental disorders from an integrated multi disciplinary professional prospective based on the guidelines issued by World Health Organization (WHO) in 1969.

We seek to sensitize the community and extend a-z
rehabilitation services under one roof for cognitive,
communicative & related disorders.
Our Mission
Multi disciplinary therapeutic interventions, and
remedial training programs as rehabilitation pursuits,
for cognitive and communicative disorders, through
service providing centers known as RICCCH, leading
to extended family oriented rehabilitation network,
by sensitizing the community and setting up a unique
model rehabilitation center, worthy of emulation by
other districts / states in the country.
