AMMANILAVU : A recognition to the Mothers of special children. RICCCH in association with Malappuram District Administration, jointly declared May 11th of every year as Special Mother’s Day. The District Collector Shri Amit Meena IAS on behalf of the District Administration and the Chairman of RICCCH, Shri Vadakkethil Hamza signed and announced the joint declaration.

The role of mother of a special child is so significant that’s its importance can hardly be explained in words. These Mother’s are predestined for a divine role and deserve noble care, concern and support from all segments of the society, especially, from other mothers with a view to eventually facilitate them to bring their children to the main stream of the community.

Since 2018, every year RICCCH has been observing May 11th as Special Mothers Day, for instance, in 2019 this day was observed and the functions were inaugurated by Social Justice Officer, Malappuram district.
